Organizations
That page lists the organizations displaying, the names, if they are image organizations, the descriptions and icons enabling to edit, duplicate or delete them.
If an organization is specified as an image, it will not be active and will only be used to create organizations.
How to create an organization from scratch
You can create an organization by clicking on Create.
The creation window is divided in two parts:
- Definition: which gathers the name of the organization, if it is an image organization, the description, an estimation account and the actions history.
- Measuring units : which gathers the monthly hours (only for Cocomo), the currency, the hourly rate and the standard coefficient conversion.
How to create an organization from an image organization
You can create an organization from an image organization by clicking on Create organization from image above the organization list. The configuration of the image organization will be identically reproduced in the new organization.
Users
That page lists the users displaying their names, login name, organizations, email address and several dates related to their activity on Estimancy.
How to create users
You can create users thanks to the Create button located above the list. You will hten be directed to the creation page of user profile.
Profiles
That page lists the different professional profiles that can be used on Estimancy. Each profile is characterized by a name, a description and an hourly rate. Those profiles will then be used in the WBS-Activity and staffing modules.
Depending on your rights, you can also edit profiles from the Profile tab via Configuration and settings > Settings.
Currencies
That page lists the currencies that can be used on Estimancy.
You can create currencies thanks to the Create button located above the list.
Fill in the following fields:
- Name,
- Alias,
- Description,
- ISO code,
- ISO code number,
- Sign,
- Conversion rate.
You can edit (change the conversion rate, for instance) a currency thanks to the icons located in the Actions column of the table.
Technical settings
That page gathers the administration parameters such as the minimum size of a password or the welcome message.
You can create an administration parameter thanks to the Create button located above the list.
An administration parameter is characterized by:
- Key,
- Value,
- Description,
- Category.
Once those fields are filled, you can:
- Save and create a new one,
- Save,
Click on Back.
Authentication methods
That page lists the authentication methods available on Estimancy.
You can create an authentication method thanks to the Create button.
Fill in the following fields:
- Name,
- Server name,
- Port,
- Encryption method,
- LDAP bind account DN,
- LADAP bind password,
- LDAP base DN,
- Priority order,
- If on-the-fly user creation is authorized, check the box,
- Login name,
- First name,
- Last name,
- Email,
- Initials.
Once you filled in the fields, you can:
- Save and create a new one,
Save,
- Click on Back.
Maintenance message
Thanks to that page, you can leave a maintenance message to all the users of the base.
Audit
That page lists all the modifications done on Estimancy with the element type, id element, actions changes, author and date.
Attributes
That page lists the attributes that are available for the several configurations you can make on Estimancy. The attributes are used in the estimation modules.
How to create attributes
You can create attributes with a click on the Create button, located above the list. In the creation window, fill in the following fields:
- Name,
- Alias,
- If the attribute only has one input value,
- Description,
- Agregation (mean, sum, max),
- Validations and options (integer, float, date, text, list).
Get information and edit an attribute
You can get information and edit an attribute thanks to the icons located in the Actions column of the table.
Modules
That page lists the estimation modules models. Each module instance created in the Modules tab is based on those models.
Permissions
That page lists the global permissions, the modules and the project permissions.
How to create a permission
You can create a permission with a click on the Create button located above the list. The creation window will open, fill in the following fields:
- Alias,
- Name,
- Description,
- Object type,
- Category,
- If the permissions is Global,
- If it is a Project permission,
- Associated object.
How to import and export permissions
You can import or export permissions under Excel format thanks to the Import and Export buttons.
How to edit permissions
You can edit permissions thanks to the icons located in the Actions column of the list.
Language – dictionnary
That page lists the different language dictionaries available on Estimancy. The languages are used as dictionaries during the translation of the application.
How to create a dictionary
You can create a dictionary with a click on Create above the list. A creation window will open, fill in the following fields:
- Name,
- Local.
Edit a dictionary
You can edit a dictionary thanks to the icons located in the Actions column of the table.
