How to edit the user profile

The User profile gathers all the information about a user that Estimancy needs.

Once you are logged in Estimancy, you can access the user profile in the User Environment menu.

Click on the icon to pull down the menu.

How to edit the user profile

Click on the logged in user name at the top of the menu to edit the profile. It is divided in three tabs:


> Global


User’s Identity

Your first name, last name, initials, login name, email and description are specified here. The entries indicated with an asterisk are mandatory. All the entries are editable.

User’s Authentication

You can change your password at any time in this section.

If your account depends on an external authentication protocol such as LDAP, you can only change your password on the LDAP directory.

Leave the fields blank if you do not want to alter the password.

User’s information

In this section, you can see different dates related to your account such as the end of the subscription date or the last login. None of those dates are editable.

Do not forget to click on Apply or Save not to lose any alteration made.


> Preferences


With this tab, you can specify your preferences. You can choose the language of the display (auto (browser language), Deutsch, English, French, …). The dates, floats and currencies will appear accordingly with the selected language. You can also set the time zone, the number of decimals (digits after the comma) except for costs and the number of objects displayed by page (5-100).

Time zone

You can set the time zone.


Number of decimals

You can set the number of decimals to be displayed (digits after comma) except for costs.


Objects per page

You can set the number of objects that will appear on a page for the lists of the application (5-10-25-50-100).


> Groups

This section displays the groups to which you belong. Those groups define, to a certain extent, your permissions and possibilities in this application. The administrator of the organization registers users on groups thanks to that tab the Groups tab via the User Environment > Permissions menus.
